BELMONDO® Step is specially designed for steep walkways. With its V-shaped, raised-rib profile, it offers increased grip and facilitates liquid drainage, with the square imprinting between the ribs providing additional grip.
The weather- and UV-resistant top coat makes Belmondo Step particularly robust and durable. The mats can be installed on indoor or outdoor ramps and sloping walkways. A concrete surface at least 10 cm thick is required to fix the mats securely. In practice, it has been used safely on slopes of up to 15%

Belmondo rubber mats are DLG-certified, meeting DIN 7861:2024 and DIN 3762:2022, German-engineered benchmarks that define how elastic rubber floorings for horses must perform.
DIN 7861:2024 sets out the technical and welfare requirements for horse flooring, with testing covering slip resistance, shock absorption, comfort under the hoof, and durability.
DIN 3762:2022 ensures flooring is safe and non-toxic, testing for PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) to guarantee the material won’t release harmful substances into the stable environment. These chemicals are often found in poor-quality rubber mats.
