Designed specifically for horsewalkers, the Belmondo Horsewalker rubber mat is soft and shock absorbing whilst providing the horse with a stable and secure walking surface. It’s important that the hoof can turn easily on the rubber flooring without being stopped abruptly to help protect tendons and joints. Â The rhombic profile on the surface provides improved grip in wet conditions and is easy to clean. The weather- and UV-resistant top coat makes the Horsewalker rubber mats particularly robust and durable in Australian conditions, especially when used outdoors.

DIN 7861:2024 sets out the technical and welfare requirements for horse flooring, with testing covering slip resistance, shock absorption, comfort under the hoof, and durability.
DIN 3762:2022 ensures flooring is safe and non-toxic, testing for PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) to guarantee the material won’t release harmful substances into the stable environment. These chemicals are often found in poor-quality rubber mats.
